Short Description:

This is a Bio-Tek PMA-1 External Pacemaker Analyzer, used for testing and simulating various pacemaker modes and parameters. It features easy-to-use membrane-style control buttons for programming and measuring rate, amplitude, refractory periods, and pacing sensitivity. Designed for field testing and calibration of external pacemakers, this analyzer includes both RS232 and parallel ports, and operates on four AA batteries (not included).

Front Panel Soft-Touch Function Buttons:

• Rate Control: Adjust pacing rate via int (internal) and ext (external) inputs
• Amplitude Control: Adjusts output voltage or current (via width, type)
• V (Ventricular), A (Atrial), A-V (Atrioventricular), Tr (Transthoracic) Mode Selectors
• Sensitivity Adjustments: R+, R− for rate sensitivity, S+, S− for signal sensitivity
• Refractory Periods: PRP (paced refractory period), SRP (sensed refractory period)
• Print: Enables hardcopy output via parallel printer (printer not included)
• LCD Contrast Control for optimal viewing
