      All the cable pins are intact firmly and aren't lousy or bent/broken.

     Strain relief is in very good shape.

    *2 does not apply to foot switch without protection (bar, protective housing, shroud etc.) against unintentional actuation. The manufacturer of the system has to care for required safety precautions.
