Short description:

Lot of two (2) Bioteque Silicone Cube pessaries, sizes #5 CU45D and #9 CU75D, with drainage channels. These are unused, non-sterile, flexible silicone pessaries designed to support third-degree prolapse. Units are clean, intact, and come with the original IFU leaflet. Sterilization procedures are clearly provided by Bioteque (see below).

Caution:
  • Federal law requires that this device be ordered by a physician.
Indications:
  • For the support of a third-degree prolapse.
Contraindications:
  • Pessaries are contraindicated in:
  • acute genital tract infections
  • pelvic infections
  • non-compliant patients
Recommended Sterilization Procedures:

Bioteque Silicone Cube Pessaries may be sterilized as follows:

1️⃣ Autoclave at

  • 15 lbs of pressure
  • 250°F / 121°C
  • for 10 minutes

2️⃣ Boil for 15 minutes

3️⃣ Cold sterilize with

  • Cidex (Johnson & Johnson) or
  • Chlorophenyl (Bard-Parker)
➡️ Then thoroughly rinse with water
