Short Description:

DJO Aircast VenaFlow Elite rapid sequential compression pump for DVT prophylaxis. Unit powers on, passes self-test, reaches operational menus, allows single/dual leg garment selection, and runs compression cycle; however after approximately five minutes a “Check Tubes” alarm appears. As tubing/garments were not used during evaluation, unit is being offered for parts or repair.

Condition Summary:

• Operational Response: The device reaches functionality windows and allows selection of single or dual-leg operation. Compression cycle initiated and unit operated for approximately five minutes.
• Observed Alarm: The unit subsequently displayed a “Check Tubes” / Tube Alarm message. Per top panel labeling, this alarm may indicate kinks, leaks, or a reconnection issue; however tubing/garments were not connected during testing, so the source of the alarm has not been fully diagnosed.
