The Bird/Viasys Air-Oxygen Blender (P/N 03800A) is a precision device for mixing medical-grade compressed air and oxygen, providing an adjustable FiO₂ from 21% to 100%. Designed for use in hospital and clinical settings, it ensures reliable delivery of blended gases for neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care.

Cautions & Warnings :

  • Warning: Condensed water in the air supply can cause malfunction.
 
  • General Advisory: Ensure oxygen concentration is verified with an analyzer during clinical use.

Ports and Connections:

  • Front Panel:

    • Large grey knob intact, rotates smoothly to control oxygen concentration between 21%–100%.

  • Rear / Inferior Surface:

    • Auxiliary Outlet (Air/O₂): Additional blended gas output (accuracy from 2 LPM and above).

    • Medical Air Inlet: Connects to compressed medical-grade air supply.

    • Oxygen Inlet: Connects to compressed oxygen supply.

    • Bleed Port: Present and labeled “do not obstruct” (ensures mixing accuracy at low flows).
