Short Description:

Olympus USG-400 ultrasonic generator paired with TC-E400 energy cart. Unit powers on, completes self-test, and reaches the main operating screen prompting for probe connection. System is fitted with a top-mounted docking plug to support connection with a compatible electrosurgical generator when used with Thunderbeat instruments. Sonicbeat port responds to commands. Includes original Olympus manuals. Overall cosmetic and functional condition is very good.

  • Console Housing: Clean with no cracks or structural damage noted. Cosmetic condition is very good.
  • Display Screen: Bright, clear, and scratch-free. Touchscreen is fully responsive.
  • Controls & Interface: Power button, menu navigation, brightness, volume, and touch inputs function as expected.
  • Energy Cart / Stand: TC-E400 energy cart is in great cosmetic condition. Includes rear storage drawer, front and rear pull handles, and integrated cable management hooks.
  • Mobility: Four-wheel caster base; wheels roll freely and are lockable.

 

Functionality / Testing Summary:

 

  • Device powers on successfully and passes self-test.
  • Reaches main operating screen requesting probe connection.
  • Sonicbeat Port (Port 2): A Sonicbeat probe was available and connected. The system responds to commands and settings changes.
  • Thunderbeat Port (Port 1): Not tested due to the absence of compatible Thunderbeat instruments.

 

Probe Check Function:

 

  • Not completed. Although a Sonicbeat probe was available, probe check could not be fully performed due to lack of compatible transducer instruments.
  • Touchscreen functions including menu navigation, brightness, volume, and language selection were verified.
