Short description:
Cooper Surgical / Summit Doppler LifeDop L150 handheld Doppler system with 8 MHz probe and interface cable. The console and probe have been tested and successfully reproduced audible Doppler flow using the operator’s radial artery. This is a compact, non-display Doppler designed for basic vascular or fetal flow detection. Includes console, 8 MHz probe, and interface cable only.
Condition Summary:
Console:
- Overall good cosmetic condition
- No dents or structural cracks observed
- May show light scratches/scuffs consistent with normal prior use
- Left-side volume control knob is responsive
- Power ON/OFF button is functioning
- Speaker is working properly
- Right side includes audio/headphone jack and probe interface port
- Battery door is intact
- Posterior belt clip is intact
- Superior probe holder is intact
Probe (8 MHz, S/N: PT001476):
- No dents or cracks noted
- May show minor cosmetic scratches/scuffs
- Probe nose/tip is in good condition
Interface Cable:
Coiled “telephone-style” cable present
Cable insulation appears intact
Plastic retaining / J-clip at the probe-to-console connection is broken (see last image).
This clip normally helps secure the connector in place
Despite the broken clip, the probe connects and functions normally during testing
Connection may feel slightly loose due to the missing clip, but this did not affect Doppler performance in our evaluation
Functionality / Testing Summary:

- Volume control and power button verified operational
- Speaker confirmed working
- Probe connected and recognized by the console
Testing performed:
- Doppler gel applied and probe placed over operator’s radial artery
- Clear audible Doppler flow was reproduced, confirming basic functionality of both console and probe
This system is a non-display Doppler (audio output only).
No calibration or preventive maintenance has been performed by Medicka Medical. New AA batteries are recommended prior to clinical use.
