Short description:

Fisher HealthCare Horizon 642E benchtop centrifuge with installed 6-place rotor and six OEM red tube carriers. Fully functional and tested at multiple cycle times with smooth performance.

Factory Calibration:

Rotor Installed: 6-place Horizontal  rotor (Drucker OEM, plastic composite)
Tube Carriers: Six (6) red 16 × 100 mm carriers (OEM, SKU 7713031K, tested and in great shape) 

 

Condition:

  • Exterior: Body and casing intact, no dents or cracks; some light scratches and scuff marks from use.
  • Feet/Base: All four rubber feet intact and in good shape.
  • Lid: Transparent, crack-free, with intact rear hinges. Locking/unlocking mechanism works properly.
  • Rotor: OEM 6-place rotor installed, no cracks, chips, or dents.
  • Carriers: Set of six OEM red carriers (16 × 100 mm) included, no cracks or damage (per prior evaluation, excellent physical condition).
  • Internal Basin: Clean, no rust or residue.
  • Control Panel: All buttons (Start, Open/Stop) responsive; indicator lights function as intended. No degeneration of soft pads.

Functionality Summary:

  • Device powered on and tested with 3-minute and 5-minute cycles.
  • Spin performance was smooth and vibration-free.
  • Lock/unlock features and safety interlock tested and working.
  • Unit is in great working order overall.

Caution / Warning Labels:

  • Caution: “Rotor must stop before opening lid” (intact, visible).
  • Unlocking Instructions: Provided on lid—unit must be plugged in to unlock; manual unlock available after 60 seconds if power is lost.
  • Warning: Lid locks at rest; must press OPEN with the unit powered to release.
