Condition (Visual & Physical):
- Sterilizer body is in very good cosmetic condition.
- No dents or cracks noted on the housing.
- LCD display is bright, scratch-free, and fully functional.
- Cassette chamber shows minor surface scratches, scuffs, and some oxidation marks consistent with normal prior use.
- Exterior controls, indicators, and fittings are intact.
- Overall presents well and in solid working shape.
Functionality Summary:
Device powered on, recognized cassette, and cycles initiated without fault.
Wrapped cycle and unwrapped cycle were both performed. In each case:
The device reached the desired temperature and pressure.
Cycle completed as intended, with the LCD showing “Cycle Complete.”
Air-drying phase started normally, but was manually interrupted when the cassette was pulled out.
- No cycle faults or error codes were noted during testing.
- Rubber/plastic cycle and dedicated air-drying cycle were not tested.
- No chemical or biological indicator strips were used, so sterilization effectiveness was not validated.
- Recommendation: Preventive maintenance (PM) and validation with biological indicators are recommended before clinical use.
