The Medela BiliBed® is a compact, high-quality neonatal phototherapy system developed for the treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia (jaundice). Its design allows efficient rooming-in care with low power consumption, minimal follow-up costs, and reliable blue light output. This unit is well-suited for hospital use with bassinets and neonatal wards.

Attention (from device label):

 

Sufficient air must circulate around the BiliBed. Use ventilation openings to keep the BiliBed surroundings free. When operated inside a bassinet, containing space necessary for the width of the BiliBed, approximately by free space at least 20 cm². The BiliBed phototherapy blanket must be positioned correctly to ensure successful treatment as well as safe and efficient positioning of the baby.
