Short description:

The Medela BiliBed® is a neonatal phototherapy unit designed for the treatment of hyperbilirubinemia. It uses high-intensity blue light in a compact form factor that allows treatment in a bassinet or crib with minimal disturbance to the infant.

Attention (from device label):

 

Sufficient air must circulate around the BiliBed. Use ventilation openings to keep the BiliBed surroundings free. When operated inside a bassinet, containing space necessary for the width of the BiliBed, approximately by free space at least 20 cm². The BiliBed phototherapy blanket must be positioned correctly to ensure successful treatment as well as safe and efficient positioning of the baby.
