Short description:

Buffalo Filter ViroVac® VV120 Surgical Smoke Evacuator with integrated front control panel. This unit powers on and lights up but does not respond with active suction when a compatible filter is inserted. Cosmetic signs of use with scuffs and surface wear, but no cracks or dents. Offered as-is for parts or repair. 

Front Panel Description:

  • Power Button (Blue)
  • Fan Speed Modes: Low (Moon symbol) | Medium | High (Upward arrow symbol)
  • LED Filter Life Indicator (4-bar scale) 
  • Error Indicator Light (X symbol)
  • Cut/Coag Mode Status Icons
  • Filter Status/Warning Light 

 

 

Condition:

 

 

  • Cosmetically fair with scratches and scuff marks from prior use. 
  • No visible dents or cracks. 
  • Rubber feet on the base are intact. 

 

Functionality:

 

 

  • Device powers on; all indicator lights illuminate. However, the unit does not generate suction when operated from the front panel with the filter installed. 
  • No footswitch is available to test remote activation. 
  • Sold as-is for parts or repair.
Caution:
  • Risk of Explosion: Do not use in the presence of flammable anesthetics.
  • Electrical Hazard: Do not remove the device cover. Servicing must be done by qualified personnel only.
  • Grounding: Ensure connection to a “Hospital Grade” receptacle for safe operation.
