Short Description

LUXTEC Fiberoptics Mini Lux fiber optic surgical headlight system with adjustable headband, articulating headlight assembly, fiber optic light guide, and original storage pouch. Unit has been tested with a compatible light source and is functional.

Condition Summary:

 

Pre-owned system in very good overall cosmetic condition. Headlight optics are clean, housing is intact, and headband components show normal signs of prior clinical use. Storage pouch shows visible wear and minor fabric tearing from use.

Functionality / Testing Summary:

 

  • Tested using a compatible fiber optic light source (not included)
  • Bright, even illumination observed
  • Focus adjuster is present and working
  • Articulating headlight assembly moves smoothly and holds position
  • Headband adjustment mechanism is functional
  • Note: Joystick and joystick housing are not included; the joystick mounting area shows damage (see images).

  • Interior forehead pads are intact and in good condition
  • Posterior adjustment knob is intact and operational
  • Integrated superior and posterior cable holders are intact

 

 

Fiber Optic Light Guide / Cable

 

  • Approximate length: ~8 feet
  • Transparent fiber optic cable
  • Very minor broken fibers observed (1–2 strands)
  • No cuts or tears in the outer jacket
  • Strain relief shows early signs of wear
  • Proximal connector fits ACMI port light sources and LUXTEC light sources
  • Distal connector mates properly with the headlight

 

Storage Pouch
  • Original LUXTEC fabric storage pouch included
  • Drawstring closure present
  • Fabric wear and small tears noted due to use
