Item Overview

Pre-owned Siemens ACUSON 14L5 SP linear-array ultrasound transducer, tested on a Siemens ACUSON S2000 ultrasound system.

Significant image dropout was observed on the left side of the scan field during testing. Approximately half of the image field remained functional, with grayscale and Color Doppler activity demonstrated in the functioning region.

Probe failed image-quality testing and requires repair. Sold strictly AS-IS for parts, repair, or refurbishment.

• Copper contact surface shows oxidation/patina.

Functional Check:

• Tested on a Siemens ACUSON S2000 ultrasound system.
• Probe recognized and presets loaded successfully.
• Significant image dropout present on the left side of the scan field.
• Dropout persisted during phantom scanning.
• Right carotid artery visualized in the functioning portion of the image.
• Color Doppler demonstrated in the functioning region.
