Condition Summary:

• Cosmetic Condition: The probe housing and handle show signs of regular use, including minor scratches and scuffs. The cable exhibits slight yellowing consistent with clinical use (likely disinfectant exposure), but no cracks or structural damage are noted.
• Cable & Strain Relief: Approx. 8 ft cable is intact with no cuts, kinks, or exposed wiring. Strain reliefs are secure and tear-free.
• Connector Condition: Connector pins are clean and intact with no bends or damage. Locking mechanism is present and engages firmly.
• Probe Head: Acoustic lens shows visible stress wear—please review images carefully. No fluid ingress observed.

Functionality / Testing Summary:

• System Compatibility: Tested with Esaote MyLab Five ultrasound system (not included). Probe was recognized immediately upon connection.
• Air Scan: Image displayed; however, a persistent gray/dim area is noted on the right side, suggestive of element degradation.
• Phantom Scan: Same right-sided imaging imperfection persists, consistent with likely weak or non-functioning piezoelectric elements.
• Vascular Scan: Carotid artery scan performed—lumen visualization is present and color Doppler flow is functional. Overall imaging is usable, but defect remains visible on one side.
• Overall Assessment: Probe is functional with image output but has a consistent right-side dropout/weak element issue. Not suitable for clinical use without repair.
