Short Description:

Siemens EV9-4 endocavitary ultrasound probe tested on Sonoline G20 system. Unit is in good cosmetic condition and demonstrates stable imaging performance with minor artifacting noted on air scan.

Condition Summary:

• Housing & Scan Head: Probe housing and handle are in good overall condition with no deep cracks or structural damage. Minor cosmetic wear including light scratches and scuffs consistent with normal use. Acoustic lens is smooth, intact, and free from cuts or swelling.
• Cable & Strain Relief: Cable measures approximately 7 feet, remains flexible with no cuts, tears, or kinking observed. Strain reliefs are intact and free from damage.
• Connector Condition: Connector shows minor paint loss/chipping on outer shell. Locking mechanism is intact. Pins appear clean, straight, and complete with no visible damage.

Functionality / Testing Summary:

Air Scan:
Minor background noise/artifacting observed.
Minor air scan artifacting observed is typical for probes of this generation and does not significantly impact clinical imaging performance.

Phantom Scan:
Image quality appears uniform and stable, with consistent grayscale response and no obvious element failure.

Probe was tested in a practical application (right upper quadrant simulation).
