GE E8C convex array ultrasound probe (REF 229-7883), manufactured April 2018. Tested and verified functional on a GE LOGIQ P6 ultrasound system (not included). Air scan, phantom scan, abdominal body scan, and color Doppler flow were performed to demonstrate imaging performance.

Probe Head & Lens:
Scanning surface is smooth and intact. No cracks, chips, or lens separation noted. Acoustic window appears clean.

Handle & Housing:
Housing is structurally intact with no cracks or impact damage. Minor cosmetic surface marks consistent with routine handling.

Cable:
Approximately 7 feet in length. No cuts, tears, kinks, or exposed wiring observed. Strain reliefs are intact.

Connector:
Connector is in excellent condition. No bent or broken pins observed. Locking mechanism is intact and secure.

 

 

Functionality / Testing Summary:

 

Probe was tested on a GE LOGIQ P6 ultrasound system (system not included).

Testing performed includes:

• Air Scan: Uniform near-field response observed
• Phantom Scan: Adequate penetration and consistent grayscale uniformity
• Abdominal Body Scan: Probe placed on right upper quadrant demonstrating visualization of right kidney and liver with distinguishable echo texture between solid organs
• Color Doppler: Color flow demonstrated with appropriate fill and response

No obvious dropout lines or dead elements were observed during testing.
No intracavitary examination was performed.
