Short Description:

Philips L17-5 linear array ultrasound transducer in good cosmetic and working condition. The probe was tested on a Philips iU22 ultrasound system and basic imaging functions were demonstrated, including air scan, phantom-style scan, and vascular scan with color flow. Cable, strain reliefs, connector, housing, and lens appear to be in good overall shape with only minor cosmetic wear from normal prior use.

Probe Head / Housing:
Probe head and handle are free from major dents or cracks. Minor surface scratches and normal cosmetic wear are present from routine use.

Lens:
Acoustic lens appears smooth and intact. No cuts, tears, or swelling were observed.

Cable:
Approx. 7 ft cable is in good overall condition with no cuts, tears, or significant kinking noted during inspection.

Strain Reliefs:
Strain reliefs appear intact and tear-free on both ends.

Connector / Locking Mechanism:
Connector shows minor cosmetic wear/scratches consistent with handling. No major cracks or structural damage noted. No bent or broken pins were observed. Locking mechanism appears intact.

Air Scan:
Air scan was performed. Minor cosmetic/image imperfections may be present, but no significant image dropout was observed.
 
Phantom-Style / Uniformity Scan:

Vascular Scan:
Probe was tested on the right carotid. Carotid lumen was visualized and color flow was demonstrated well. CPA / color flow response appeared good based on basic testing performed.
