Short description:

Philips C10-3v curved endovaginal ultrasound probe, designed for gynecological, pelvic, and general abdominal imaging applications. This probe has been tested with a Philips system and recognized, but shows cosmetic wear and lens imperfections. Offered as-is, not ideal for detailed diagnostic use.

Cosmetic Condition:

  • Probe housing and handle in good overall condition, no cracks or dents.
  • Paint wear and scuffing present, particularly on connector and housing.
  • Acoustic lens shows stress marks and gouging.
  • Cable (~10 ft) intact, no cuts, tears, or buckling. May show surface dirt.
  • Strain relief intact, free of cracks or tears.
  • Connector housing with scratches, scuffs, and paint loss. No bent or broken pins. Locking mechanism secure.

 

Functional Condition:
  • System recognition successful.
  • Air Scan: Shows patchy gray areas.
  • Phantom Scan: Demonstrated possible calibration imperfections.
  • Body Scan: Hip/renal exam performed; echo texture of solid organs appeared but quality was limited. No color Doppler assessment was done.
  • Assessment: Probe works but due to lens and imaging imperfections, not suitable for high-quality or detailed clinical exams.
Functionality Summary:

This Philips C10-3v transducer has been tested and recognized by a Philips system. While it functions and produces images, visual imperfections were noted on both phantom and body scans. Due to its lens wear and uneven image quality, it is recommended for training, parts, or non-critical imaging use only.
