Short description:

PENTAX FI-10P2 intubation fiberscope in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Scope includes multiple accessories, cleaning brushes, Medivators processing kits (with manuals), and a surgical instrument storage / sterilization container with a sieved bas.

 

 

 

 

 

Condition Summary:


Control Body & Eyepiece:
Ocular lens is clear and intact. Bayonet pins are intact. Diopter adjustment ring operates properly. Control body is in good overall cosmetic condition.

Deflection / Angulation:
Deflection control lever functions and distal tip deflects appropriately. Angulation appears smooth and responsive.

Insertion Tube & Distal End:
Insertion tube shows no visible cuts or tears. Distal end appears intact. No significant damage noted.

Light Guide & Umbilical Cable:
Umbilical fiber optic cable is approximately ~6 ft and shows no visible cuts or exposed areas. Light guide connector appears clean with no corrosion noted.

Optics / Image:
Objective lens appears in good condition. Visual inspection through the scope shows a clear image with no visible broken fibers.

 

Functionality / Testing Summary:

 

Scope transmits light appropriately and optics appear clear
Instrument channel appears unobstructed
Angulation/deflection mechanism functions
Scope was tested with a video endoscopy system
During testing, it was difficult to fully appreciate the image on the system because the correct coupler to interface the eyepiece with the camera head was not available. However, direct visual inspection confirms a crisp/clear image and no visible broken fibers.
Leak test has NOT been performed.
