Short Description:
Used Crescent Dental 5AR Amalgamator designed for mixing amalgam capsules. Features manual rotary timer (up to 60 seconds) and integrated 2-prong power cord. Powers on, but capsule holder is missing and cord shows wear. Current Draw: 0.628 AMP. Sold as-is for parts or repair.
Rotary Timer Knob (Front Dial): Features a manual mechanical timer dial marked WIG-L-BUG Crescent Chicago. The dial functions both as a power switch and timer, adjustable up to 60 seconds. Turning the knob activates the device for the set duration.
Top Loading Compartment: Intended for use with amalgam capsules, but the capsule holding arm is missing, which limits full operational testing.
Cosmetic Condition: Unit shows moderate wear, including scratches and scuffs, but no cracks or breaks in the casing. Chrome edging intact.
Functional Status: Device powers on and motor engages when timer is activated. Due to the missing capsule holder, mixing functionality is incomplete and unverified. Suitable for parts, restoration, or repair (although functional).
